Re: Coolant temp sensor (whiterex)
Sorry,wrong...
The Coolant temperature sensor has nothing to do with the gauge..
The coolant temperature sensor tells the ecu what the temp of the
coolant is so that the mixture can be adjusted for those conditions..
A bad signal can cause flooding/hard starting..
The fan switch is on the back of the block near the oil filter..

The car will start if that sensor isn't plugged in. I forgot to hook it back up last weekend, when the car started I threw a code 6.

I've already swap out 3 different dizzy and its the same thing everytime. I'm pretty sure my grounds are good I've been over them about 3 times. Anyone have any idea what else it could be..

Re: Coolant temp sensor (whiterex)
coolent temp sensor tells your vehicle the the engine temperature telling it on a cold morning to dump more fuel to hold idle and if it senses that the thermostat opening up isnt enof too cool off the engine it turns the fan on till it reaches the desired temperature

Yea I understand that. What I'm having an issue with now is not starting period. Maybe I should create another thread about it.
