Okay. So today i went to work. My car started fine. Then when i went to take my lunch break, it wouldnt start. It was cranking over then it would start, but as soon as i would let go of the key from the ignition position, it would die. So i kept trying it. And i remembered it did it a few times before, so i gave it some gas when it fired up and it stayed running.

So I started driving after i let it run for a little, then i let off the gas and pushed in on the clutch because i needed to stop. And it just died. I had only made it around the corner from my work. So i pushed it into a lot and left it for a while.

Then about 30 minutes later I tried again a couple times. And I finally got it to start. So I hurried and drove it back to work and parked it. I let it idle for a while, I checked my fuel pressure gauge and it surged down low. So I shut it off.

By now I was thinking it was the fuel pump. Does anybody think it could be the fuel pump? I tried it again after work, but still no luck. So I got a ride home. I couldnt hear it when i would turn the key to the on position.

My car has kinda acted weird prior to this. It would idle low alot. It sometimes felt sluggish when i would get on it. It would sorta hesitate if you gave it throttle real quick.

any ideas?

fuel pump and filter is where i would start ... then on to the injectors and so on and so forth
