Axle Question - Y1/S1 axles w/ YS1 transmission?
Can a Y1/S1 intermediate shaft be used with a YS1 transmission?
I had the B16 cable tranny that was in the car blow up on me, quite literally - differential shot holes through the speedometer area, cracked the case, and blew a spider gear out the bottom.
I think the axles that were in it were the original B16 axles but I could be wrong; they look similar [based on memory] to the standard DA axle.
Anyway, I've got a YS1 transmission in there now but some douche sold me bunk axles, so I'm scrambling to find what I need.
I've got the axles left over from the previous transmission and the intermediate shaft; I'm wondering if I can't just use those.
That'd allow me to return the Autozone axle I bought and realized wouldn't work with the intermediate shaft I have on there right now (the end that mates to the int. shaft is stubby and fat, where the YS1 axle is long and skinny).
Thanks in advance!

The tranny doesn't matter so much, its the combination of use matching axels to the intermediate shaft, then, np

Thanks much man, I'll get it bolted together tomorrow then.
Hooray LSD + YS1 in mah CRX.
Next up: Losing a finger doing a motor swap. I swear I'm cut up enough from doing this tranny.
