Default A6 Cam

I came across an A6 cam out of a 90 D16 CRX Si. Im thinking of putting it in my D15B2 engine which is stock except 2.25 exhaust. I have a Y8 cam gear also. Will this add hp to my engine or am i going to run into problems? Thanks.

It's supposed to add hp. I do recall a debate whether there was a real difference on the older camshafts from 88-91. There's definitely a difference between that and the D15B7 camshaft.

If you are going to mess around with stock cams, the only one worth looking for is the SOHC ZC one . . . I had a carbed one awhile ago and it had .020-.030" greater lobe lift, no way of measuring duration with what I have.

I sold it for $50 if that gives you any idea of what they are worth.
