my cousin plugged in the ecu while the battery was on in his car and he says they dont work anymore,they just dont blink or something. is there anyway to fix these pr3 obdo ecu's? i got them for free and one has a spoon chip and one has an lcr(i think) chip. i want to chip my ecu, or if i can fix these .i will just use one.is there anything i can do to get them to work.yes i have an obd0 b16 in my car.

i dont think ecu's can be fixed once they are fried. i think your better off finding another stock ecu and chipping it or a chipped one. i bought my chipped PR3 for $30 and my chipped P28 for trading a guy an obd1 LS dizzy. just keep an eye out. i would go obd1 with a P28 seeing as they are more readily available.
