Default throwing a code- 1 quick flash...i dont get it

this is an obd2 motor converted to obd1. i jumped the blue clip to see what the cel was all about, and it only blinks once, a short blink. i thought that it had to blink a long blink before i short one, seeing that code 1 is on long blink. anyone have ideas on this? btw the car runs fine

i was always under the impression that one long blink means 10 and each short one means 1

One short blink is code 1, which is the primary o2 sensor.

One long blink would be code 10.

I thought the quick blinks were 10, and each long blink was 1.

Nope 1 short blink is for 1. and one long blink is 10. read the ECU code thread
