i would do it, starting over is fun. you can learn from your mistakes (if you made any, maybe like buying a b16? ) you made on your previous ride. its up to you

I think it would be fun to start another car, and I've been considering it lately... but I don't know what I'd get... I was thinking (before I got this offer) of finding a nice Harvard Blue 4-door and swapping everything from the hatch over to the sedan then sell the CX stock. I'm leaving for college in the fall and I want something a little bigger with A/C and PS...

That's what I want to do, but when will I get another offer of $7k on a '93 CX?

Well it seems that they are selling for a bit more...just look at jdmhondaparts and their autoland section...damn people sure are proud of their EGs...like $9k for one.
Don't sell unless you really, really, really want to.

Re: Someone offered me $7k for my hatch, should I take it? (robbieshonda)
Ive got pics of your hatch on my wall in my room, the wall of nice cars... Tom's and lots of other hatches are on that wall.... You should feel honored . Not really, but if i were in your position i would keep it and continue it. Unless you want to get out fo the game. Youve got los ore you could do to your hatch. Why start over and get to about the same place you are now. just a different one?

Sometimes you can't put a price on something that you love so much. Money is only money. Think of what it took to get your car where it is now, and how much you love your car.
You're only thinking about selling it because there is actually money in front of your face. It's not like you were planning on selling it. And you having to ask yourself "Should I sell it?" is a dead giveaway that you don't really want to sell it. Hope that makes some sense.

Thanks. You're right, I really don't want to sell it, but the money is tempting... I love my car but I could buy something much nicer with the money

Well if it were me i would sell it, i doubt you will ever get offered 7k for it again. I wish someone would offer me $5500 for my car and it would be gone.

If you want to build an eg sedan from scratch, even close to what oyu have now, I doubt you could do it with $7000, unless you already have the car. You have a very nice, immaculate car. I wouldn't let it go for $7000, unless I had other cars, or really needed the money.

What is there to get for $7k? Not a whole lot.
Unless it's an R down-payment like I was saying...
Or throw a C1/C5 bottom end on your car and it'll be good to go..

Re: Someone offered me $7k for my hatch, should I take it? (w00t!)
dunt sell it, sell the motor and grab urself a nice lil gsr with some raw lil goodies
btw i luv ur car. i was thinking about trading my coupe last year to a freind with a single cammer in it and i couldnt even say yes. he was about to give me a hatchback with a gsr in it and a cf wing with suspension stock everything because my coupe has no dents just 2 small dings. its just the fact that that lil coupe was mine. besides how mad would u be if ur freind wrecked ur car(not saying he would) after he bought it. ud feel like u killed something important to u.
i say tell him 8000 and its a deal.
