Just drop your car until you can't get the socket under it, lol.

JB Weld that bitch on there. They'll have to take the whole bumper if they want the lip. That should at least set your alarm off, and if you dont have an alram I'm going to come to your house and slap you.

you wanna guarantee that it won't get stolen? Don't put it on! lol jk you can use everybody's ideas and mix and match the bolts along with your stuff that is "a bit more potent" anything to slow the thieves down. good luck with it.

If your really serious about this buy some security torx machine screws, whatever size you happen to need and then go buy a driver to install them, they're like normal torx only they have a little pin in the center.

Those are called tamper proof torx

Blue Point has a tamper proof torx bit set if you go that route.

Here is a place to start.

They also have bolts that the heads break off at a certain torque so those are another option. No way those are coming off easy.

No, but it you try you whoever sells nuts/bolts/screws in your area they can get them or at least point you in the right direction.

You mean a 6mm socket, like one that might come in a socket set that a thief might carry around?
The tamper proof torx screws sound like a good idea. I've seen a few sites that sell security hardware.

to prevent from your lip getting stolen you use a alan screw to tighten your lip on cause what thieve walks around with with a alan keys they usally walk arounds with flat heads and screw drivers most people use normal screws that easily can be taken off with a screw driver or a flat head like I said again, tools that thieves carry on them.

Im with turbo-2nr, rivet it on! And the tamperproof torx is not a bad idea either. If someone wants it THAT bad they will get it...its just a matter of time. All you can really do is slow them down and hope they get caught in the act.

Hide in a tree with a shotgun. After a while, theives will just stay away...or there won't be any left. Either way, it works.
I'm feeling violent today. Deuschbags at work are pissing me off.

in my bathroom at school they have a weird screw that holds the barriers to the wall.
think of a flat head that will only tighten. the other side is sloped up so it will just spin.

use alot of screws/bolts, and then JB weld it also.

at least this will **** the thieves off with spending so much time taking off the bolts, only to have it not come off

Haha yeah, [freak] it, take your bumper off, flip it upsidedown and just run epoxy or JB down it, and get an electric drill and have some fun haha.

It would be so cool if you could have your car electrified at night. So if someone touches it, it shocks them.

Anyway I like the idea of stripping the screws once you put the lip on. Shouldn't be too bad because you could always buy the tool so you can remove stripped screws.
