Default Replacing Headlight Bulbs on a 92' Civic

Hi all..

I got some new brighter bulbs for my civic, I thought installation would be as easy as it was for the cornering lights but it's far from it.

I messed around with the lights for a while but it got dark outside and due to a lack of sufficent light I reversed the process to the point I started at.

After searching the forum and then the net I found out I need to remove the front bumber in order to replace the bulbs in the headlights???!? WTF

OMG I searched my wannabe e-copy of th Civic Service Manual and couldn't find anything about the headlights, let alone replacing them.

Where can I find how to replace my headlight bulbs in the offical Civic Service Manual? or some type of online tutorial w/ pictures... The closest I came to an online walkthrough was this: http://www.teamgroundzero.net/...id=61 - But their downfall was the size of their pictures

replacing lightbulbs in headlights? that is one of the easiest thing you can do to your car. replacing lightbulbs is different than replacing headlights. simply squeeze the plug clip and pull it out of the headlights and replace the bulbs.

Don't touch the glass in the process, the oil from your hands will cause the bulb to burn too hot and burn out the filament very quickly

We're talking about the plug clip on the back of the headlight?

Yes, the plug that hooks to the bulb just comes off with a squeeze and pull. Then the bulb just sits in the housing with the assistance of the little clip inside. Just look in there, it's pretty self explanatory
