Question about SRS light...
What does it mean when you turn your steering wheel all the way left and the SRS light goes on?? I have a 93 civic EX, stock steering wheel

HAHA! I think it means your airbag doesnt work. If I were you i would try and get it fixed not put a peice of tape over it. Ill check the owners manual tomorrow and see what it means for sure!

Cable reel assembly on/in the steering hub is going bad - I just kept driving mine until the light was on all of the time and then replaced it.

i would venture a guess that when u turn the wheel all the way to one direction it may put tension on some wire to the SRS and cause it to disconnect at some point.

Mine did the exact same thing. My cable reel went bad so I replaced it. The new one started doing what you described only a few weeks later. After a while the light starts coming on with the wheel turned closer and closer to the center until it stays on all the time

So, what is the solution for this?? I'll check out what JMU1337 said. I'm thinking it's just going to go bad again and then I won't have CC, horn, and airbag. Anyone have any other ideas? That cable reel is really expensive.
