Default Oil leak from distributor

I have a small oil leak under my distributor on d16z6 I replaced the distributor seal and the leak got better but every time I degrease it I can still see alittle oil and I can smell it burning after I turn the car off, what else could cause this?

Try that first, that's the easiest thing ever.

Possibly worn shaft seal.

Is there also oil inside the distributor? If not, replace the O-ring.

I've already replaced the o-ring I'll try the distributor seal, but it jut doesn't seem like its leaking out of the distributor, I'll try it and see.

If there's no oil inside the distributor, then the internal distributor seal is fine. In this case, you need to replace the distributor O-ring, the valve cover gasket, or the VTEC solenoid gasket. Post pictures of the oil leak.

Looks dry. Spray some carb cleaner and see if they come back the next day or after drive.

Is there ANY oil inside the distributor? Did you install the OEM Honda O-ring?

Post pictures from the other side of the distributor so that we can see the VTEC solenoid and the coolant temp sending unit.

Take the VTEC solenoid out and replace the gasket. It looks like this or similar. $18 at Honda dealer.

I use silicone gasket seal. It works well. But I couldn't find this gasket anywhere and all auto shops told me to get it from dealer. Make sure to clean the solenoid really well and let it air dry. Also, a lot of oil will come out.

There should not be a need for sealant if installed correctly and torqued to spec.
