Not always, you could have some weird after market one like on my brother's car and then it takes a different wrench size. Don't ask me why.
but ya, 99.9% it will be, it's just not set in stone

Exactly, mine is a 17mm. However, I changed the oil on my buddys car once, and it was a 16.

dude...oil filter size?...its different codes for different model filters...just go to the store and look at the what fits your car. You don't have to get a wrench for the filter...just use some muscle. K&N has a 1 inch bolt at the end of their filters if you want to use a socket wrench, and their filters are excellent

just go with a fram oil filter. it doesn't require an oil filter wrench, you can tighten by hand.

have you seen the filter on the fram?...that shiet is like paper, and i wouldn't trust my investment on fram filters...its just a couple bucks more for a way better filter and save yourself a piece of mind
