obd2b dizzy wiring
I have a 99 civic hatch dx. I needed a new dizzy so I bought one completely forgetting to check if it was obd2a or b. So ofcourse its obd2a. I know rywire has the 8 to 10 pin connector adapter. My question is, I have the 8 pin connector, if I get the obd2a 10 pin connector does anyone know the pin outs for it? Idk what wire needs to be combined for the 8 pin side.

You'll find ignition system circuit diagrams in the FAQs sticky.
The OBD2b distributor does not use the blue tach wire whereas the OBD2a distributor does.

Re: obd2b dizzy wiring
Thank you for the diagram of the pin outs. Basically if I wire up my own adapter for this, or just unpin my 8 pin plug from my old dizzy and repin the one in there now I could just simply cap off the blue tac wire that won't be used?
