Mods that you regret on your civic?
I noticed that this was a good topic over in the ITR section, which mods do you guys regret doing to your cars? For me, I have no regrets as I plan each mod out accordingly and research it out before taking the step. I know there are quite a few of you that have gotten over your heads in things and then realized it wasn't such a smart move. This will give some others the heads up for future mods.

I put on Ractive c/f blue gauges and they suck. Look cool as hell but suck. I've gone threw 4 sets of wheels, either too small, too big, or just stopped liking. I now have 16 Rota GT-3 graphite and love. Wasted money but everything else was worth it.

Cutting my stock springs.
Living in south Florida and removing A/C and selling it all.
Gutting out my stock cat.
Removing my cruise control because now when I have to drive 7 hours from home to college its a pain in the ****.
Trading away all my stock parts (not a mod just a bad move)

Re: Mods that you regret on your civic?
Making this was a royal pain.... I don't regret it but i dont think id do it again.
Its for an eg...I got this wild idea to make it and i was gonna sell them, but after the frustration and the mold that broke after i made it(which could be repaired), I am not sure I'd do it again...I have never really done a bad mod on the honda.
I had an 88 non turbo rx7 and i put strut tower braces on it... I could never feel the difference, all though they were nice looking.

all the money spent on rice crap when it was different and cool...dvd player, indash monitor, some small neon tubes, yellow paint.
After all that stuff was gone...the tokico illumina coilovers were ****.
Then there was nothing. Im pleased w/ all my mods since that point 2yrs ago.

Re: (pdiggitydogg)
I would have to say my body kit when i first got the civic. It was so much hassle going over bumps and up driveways and it attracted cops like no other. I really liked it though but it was to much hassle to keep. If i make a show car ill put it on there.

Things I regret...
Stupid @$$ DropZone Camber Kit that caused me to go through a set of tires within 1 FREAKEN week!!!
Other things, spending way too much money on headers and CAI when I could have used that money towards a turbo setup that would yeld such better HP gains.

Buying a bodykit that didnt even fit. Had to improvise and make it fit. Doing an Integra dash conversion without having all the components there. Climate control and all the heater vents. It looks half ***.

Re: (BooBerry)
i would consider this "pre-mod"... about 2 years ago i sent a kid on PartsTrader $1030.00 for a B20 and i never received the engine or my money back and several phone calls and letters to the FBI and other online places. oh well i guess you live and learn
