kinda sticky gas pedal(kinda would like to have a normal pedal)
i have a 98 civic dx hatch - my gas pedal kinda sticks alittle - its like a shower dial... its like ice cold and than like a 1000 degress within a cm - so i slowy push the gas in and nothing then a cm more and bamb! im burning up my clutch - whats up with my gas pedal??? - is it tight or too loose and how do i go about fixing it it - thanxs

check the tension on your throttle cable...it's connected to the bell houseing off of the throttle body.

It should be fairly tight...but not somuch so that it causes the throttle plate to not fully close.

k so i should go ahead and tighten it up - i also have to do the same thing to my g/f's car - thanxs for the info and not some stupid joke like some people do on here

no he's right about teh throttle cable. Also check to be sure it isnt teh throttle itself that is sticking. Sounds like it is the throttle cable though.
