Keyless Entry Remote Problem..
Hello everyone,
I have a 1998 Civic EX with the stock Honda Keyless Entry remote (just one). However, 90% of the time the remote doesn't communicate properly with the radio controller in the car. At least, the doors don't lock/unlock as I press the buttons. =/
I've replaced the battery and reprogrammed the remote with no success. The red LED does light up when I press the button on the remote.
I'm thinking of investing 10-15 dollars on Ebay for a new remote, but if anyone should tell me otherwise, I'll definitely reconsider. Do you think it's a problem with the remote, or something else?
Thanks.

Okay, this is probably a silly question, but I guess the antenna for the radio is a different one than the keyless entry antenna?
If not, it's on the driver's side windshield pillar (on the top, almost on the roof), and it's retractable, pushable all the way back into the plastic piece that holds the antenna.
