Your IACV(idle air control valve)could be bad.

The IACV is located at the back of the throttle body, there is a a connector on the underside of that, I think it is gray. With the car running, unplug the IACV, does the idle drop? Yes, the valve is good, if nothing changes, then it could possibly be bad. Another thing that I just thought of after rereading your post, have you adjusted your idle? And by the way you might want to reset your ECU just to be sure. Could be your O2 is thinking it is your old sensor. Try that out and see what happens.
