i would guess that you losen the tensioner, losen the upper alternator bolt so you can move the alternator back and forth, remove belt, put in new belt, move alternator as far back as you can, tighten the upper alternator bolt and add more tension with the tensioner
but thats just a guess. i havent replaced mine yet

thanks.. thats what i thought but you the power steering and ac belts in front of alternator belt.. so im guessing i have to take off every belt in front of the alt belt first.. right?

well no. you can just slip the old and new belt on the side of the alternator. NOT doing it from the front were the other belt get in the way. but putting it on from the side of the alternator.

Thanks man.. Im in the process, its a major mission.. My bottom power steering nut is stripped and its really cramped to get any socket wrench in between the catback and nut..sigh!!
