Are you touching the bulbs with your fingers when you're installing them??? If you are, they're gonna blow up because the oils off your fingers contaminate the bulb surface, makes it get hot, and KABOOM. There goes your bulb.
Otherwise, if you're installing them properly, you got yourself an electrical problem. Maybe a shorted wire or bad ground somewhere.
Good luck!

He said he blew a Piaa and then 2 stock bulbs.
I can't think of much else that causes explosions.
Are the housings properly sealed? Water on the bulb?

Re: headlight problems??? (Leejen)
drag::: i've blown a piaa and two stock bulbs.
i don't think it's leaking water into the headlight housing. i think it might be electrical, cause last nite i removed a blown stock bulb and there is alot of corrosion around the plug for the bulb. anytone know what could be causing the corrrosion?? i appreciate the help guys. thanks alot.

Hmmm try to compare readings from two lights w/ a multimeter if you have one. could be a short some where...make sure the ground is good...and go from there...electrical probs are the biggest pita to track down.
