i have a d16y8 turbo and my oil pump went bad the other day. i was having my oil pressure light come on at idle and would instantly go off when given gas. i didnt drive it because i knew it meant my oil pump was bad after i changed the pressure sensor and it didnt do anything. while the oil pan was off, i went ahead and pulled my rod bearings. they werent bad at oil but were showing the slightest little tint of copper on a few spots on them. the crank, however, showed no scoring or scratches that were bad. i want to put oem rod bearings in but how do i figure out what colors i need? i found numbers on the crank by the rod caps. these numbers are- cyl.1- 2, cyl.2-4, cyl. 3-4, cyl. 4-3. Do these mean anything?? how do i figure out what colors i need to order?
