Default check engine light

Hey guys i have a 98 honda civic dx. I have a check engine light....how do you check what code it is? where do you put the paper clip?

you can use a paperclip to stick in the end of the blue connector, and the CEL will flash, Long = 10 short = 1

its for an integra ********...both procedures are the same tho

Well on me...I realized that they were Integra guages, but didnt look closesly at the pic and thought it was for the EK....whoops!
