Default Brakes Pulsating... Problem??

Took in Ek sedan in for wheel alignment (no mods whatsoever), told me my bushings on trailing arm were cracked/disintergrating.

Got that fixed then my rear brakes started pulsating/vibrating when I press on brakes. They replaced rear drum at no cost.

Got it back but still vibrating/pulsating (not as bad) but now makes noise.

Suggestions on the problem cause honda seems to have no clue what they doing.

Thanks in advance

This is the rear drums that are vibrating? Usually vibrating brakes mean that the front rotors are warped

Yes rear drums are vibrating. When I lift the e-brake I can feel vibrating at every revolution of the wheel and i hear a constant tapping sound.

Would the wheel alignment be the cuase of the problem?? Because they replaced rear trailing arms and did wheel alignment.

Thanks

I don't think a bad allignment could cause that unless somehow because of it you ended up with uneven spots of tire wear from it. It almost sounds like your shoes in your rear drums are wearing unevenly. I hate to say it, but it's time to pop them open and check it out.

Hrmmm, interesting, because the shoes have 80% left.

I had no problem with the brakes before i went into Honda to get wheel alignment and bushings replaced.

One other thing you could check too is make sure the e-brake cable isint too tight. I have a friend that has a abs equipped glasstop crx and he had that problem after a rear big big break install.

It was not a quick pulsation more a of a thump thump thump. When we parked the car we noticed that the brake cable was really tight so we loosed it and the problem was solved.

good luck
