B16 EG white smoke?
Yesterday I was driving my car and my brother noticed some white smoke out the exhaust just off the start and while I shift gears. I checked the coolant and its full, no leaks, checked oil, but nothing. It might be because I'm runnin no cat just test pipe but not sure. Would it be unburnt fuel? Or maybe a headgasket, I dont think so tho.

Burning oil most likely....worn cylinder walls, or piston rings....see if it has a bit of a blue tint to it. Also look for bubbles in your oil that is one sign of a bad headgasket. Bad headgaskets smoke profusely though so you probably just have worn oil rings

Well I do notice small bubble when I check the oil, could that be a headgasket? It doesn't have a tint to it its just white only when I excellerate in first gear at like a stop sign and then stops but when I shift it does it again but not as white.

thats wht i was thining too. it probably looks white/greyish because of the combination of the car running rich and burning oil. the thing is it only happens during take off and between high rpm shifts. i know i'm running really rich now, but shouldn't the smoke be black.

I've checked the oil very often, theres no sign of losing oil at all or burning it up. I've checked coolant just as much but its full. Hopefully not a head gasket or ring. Whatever it is it doesn't happen alot but only off the start and shifting.

it could be the valve seals. my car did they same thing and it just got worse and worse, then i got the head resurfaced, got new valve seals, and got a valve job and everything was fine.

when i first got my motor it had 26k it has like 45-50k now. i also have a b16a sir2. i burn up oil, but its not a lot. i only notice it when i drive the car hard for a long period of time or if i'm hauling *** on the highway for a long time. oh well the motor is about to be rebuilt anyways.
