hey its colton and i have a 97 civic 4 door with the non vtec economy motor - d16y7. i plan to eventually do a full build on it but for now im just going to put a godspeed to4e kit on it and have a local guy tune it at 9 or 10psi. any ideas about how much power i will put to the wheels? and any other ideas to make it any safer for me to boost stock internals? im not too worried because this guy boosted a stock jetski 33psi before it blew up. he ran it at 27 for the whole summer before that and it ran smooth as glass. still a little sketched out about the stock internals though... anything helps though!! thanks!!

and btw i just thought it would be cool to do a NON VTEC sohc build and on a 4 door car. dont see that everyday....

Running 27 PSI on a jetski that only lasted one summer should tell you something. Regardless of idle, it lasted only ONE summer. How many miles on your engine? What shape is it in?
