93 Civic DX - Brake Pedal Engages Low
So i know this topic has been covered to death but I see a lot of "solutions" that Ive already done so trying to bounce more ideas off people
Heres whats happening:
When the car is off the brake system builds pressure and feels stiff, When the car is on the pedal goes to the floor. Brakes always engage and car stop nicely but its a very long travel before I get any bite.
Things Ive done:
Checked for brake line leaks, no fluid leaking anywhere
Replaced the Master Cylinder (which was replaced by the original owner in 09) Also bench bled the MC
Replaced both rear wheel cylinders
Adjusted both rear drums properly
Replaced a frozen caliper on the drivers side front
Bled all 4 brakes.
Things to note:
All pads are in decent shape
Fluid level is full
This problem STILL persists, the master is working perfectly, and the brakes are engaging the pedal just goes to the floor. Blocked off the brake booster which of course made the pedal firm but you had to stand on the brakes to get them to engage (which seems pretty normal)
Any ideas at all. Theres not much left to the brake system for me to replace.

Have you checked the proportioning valve? A quick google search turned up an ht topic

I saw that thread however the OP of that thread states he found the prop valve was leaking, Mine is not and I dont really see how else it could go bad unless its leaking. It also appears to be the original one and not swapped out.
Ive bled the system twice, the second time I was getting NO air out of the system just fluid.
