The Vitara/Eagle build is pretty decent, but the turbo setup you put with it, is less than desirable. I hate to be THAT GUY but i'm not a big fan of SSAC turbos. Also, your 440cc injectors are going to be near their max at 300whp...especially on a D. I would go with something larger before you tune...unless it's too late already. Good luck with that turbo holding together. I hope you're the exception to the rule and it doesn't fail on you.
The safe stock limit is 220-240whp. By your logic, everyone with a B series should push 500whp. It's been done in a number of cases, but it's far beyond the safe limit. Just because something has been done, doesn't make it a good idea for everyone to do. Also, whoever builds a D with Vitaras on stock rods is a moron. The weakpoint in a D is the RODS; therefore, build it and don't address the problem...smart move

super clean build, how did you clean the block, head and intake manifold?? Did you do a chemical bath or hot tank? And what did you spray it with, high temp aluminum paint? Looks awesome BTW!

Re: 300+whp Civic D Series Turbo Build
To clean the inside? well you can see it was a well abused engine... not seen too many oil changes i think! Well first i tryed cleanin it in the parafin bath but that didnt work so i had the idea of nitromors.. i did it on a test area first and it worked well so i went ahead with it. Dabbed it on with a brush left it on for 20 mins then hot jet washed it off... then to get the residue off to a good finish i found sugar soap work amazingly... then i finished it off in the parafin abth again... looked like a fresh cast internally after that! The outside and intake i just sprayed it with just quick dry enamel... i figured the block doesnt get that hot... but i used high temp paint for the head

Re: 300+whp Civic D Series Turbo Build
Engine build is complete... its actually going on the dyno rig on a "standard" setup with stock ecu map because for my university project i need results from this so i can compare the two... after that i am goin to install the turbo parts while its on the rig and then the fun begins
Need to start my report now so im handing it over to the technicians to setup on the dyno.. will update all progress asap! 8)

What are your power goals and how do you plan to use the car?? That turbo is awfully large...your engine setup can't handle what that turbo can dish out. Also, it would make your D more of a track-only car. You would have a terrible powerband for the street.
