Well it is a pretty simple ciruit. You either have power and ground mixed up, the bulb is blown, or you blew a fuse. Start with the fuse, if that is good then it didn't short out. Next, make sure the bulb isn't burnt out. Next, put a brick or something on your brake pedal and check your power wire. If that is good check your ground.

1 the fuse, check that under the steering wheel?
2. bulbs not burnt? well arent there like 20 bulbs in there that are like led?
i dont think its just one bulbs...
3. check the power wire? well, the breaklights on the taillights work, so im not sure where the power wire is lol
4.same i dont no where the ground is, sorry im new to this

Oh they are LED? LED=light emitting diode. A diode will only let electricity flow in one direction. If you have the polarity switched, they will not let current flow and will not light up. Power is the wire that is hot when the circuit is closed. Ground is the other one, eventually ending up on the negative battery terminal. I don't have a 2000, I have a 95 so I don't know which fuse it is but I can tell you it will be under your dash.

Is that a factory honda spoiler?
The factory spoilers tap into the third brake light under the rear shelf, if memory serves me it plugs into the rear 3rd brake light harness and the rear shelf one does not work.
Unless the plug was cut off?
Then you tap have to find what wires are your brake wires and tap off those.

i actually thought it was cut off to, but i found this plug that was hidden under the interior and it was wired with the rest of the break lights, so obviously that was it!
so i tried it, and it worked! yeay!
i give props and rep to both of you, for trying to help and not call me a dumbass because i asked questions on honda tech like the rest of the people on here.
thanks a lot guys very happy right now! :D

I am confused, the plug on the rear shelf was unplugged the the rear 3rd brake light?
Did you have a spoiler on before? the shorter style?
When you put in yours I could not see were that wire is running to?
