2000 auto civic AC fan not working
New compressor. AC is kicking on just fine. Once it gets too hot...it shuts down. This basically only happens at idol at a stop once its warmed up. If I drive...AC cuts back on because enough air is cooling it off to get it to run again. Any idea what sensor this is? Anyone know how to jump it where the fan comes on everytime the AC is turned on? Any help would be appreciated. I don't have a manual...nor diagnostic tools to figure what sensor it is.
Thanks,

Sounds like the condenser fan. This fan should run whenever the compressor is engaged.
If you track down the service manual, you'll find a troubleshooting procedure.
Basically you want to check for voltage and ground on the condenser fan relay coil. Then jumper the relay contact terminals and check for voltage and ground at the fan terminals. If all these check out then you probably need a new condenser fan motor. You can take the old one apart and clean it to see if there may be some life left in it.

Could try feeding power to the fan to ensure it's OK.
If one jumps terminal 1 to 2 (being the hot) of the fan relay the fan should run.
There is also a diode in the under hood relay and fuse block that should be reviewed, it appears to feed the fan relay from the compressor relay.
Have a look the manual in google should the 3rd one in list results:
