1992 honda civic keeps shutting off please help
ok i have a 1992 civic 4dr lx d15 5 speed sometimes when i go to stop like when i put the electrical system under a load such as when brake lights come on the car shuts of no hesitation no acting weird just shuts off i tried just turning on lights one by one while i was sitting somewhere and when i turned the turn signal on the car died can any one help me find out what the problem is the battery and the alternator are good

Check all your grounds... Transmission, and battery see if its loose, see if your alternator ground is tight etc...

That sounds to me like a wiring problem somewhere cause my car was doing that **** also but it wasn't dying it was just dropping rpms to like 200 from 1100..and I went through my whole wiring system and found a couple of grounds underdash wernt hooked up and the whole taillight assmbly had some grounds that wernt hooked up either...it ain't a few hours to check all that haha it took me 18 hours to check all that ****

what aftermarket parts do you have on your car. you could have shorted out a few wires and not known it.
