It looks the same to me, I had it side by side when I recently did my 5spd swap. The image on the 1st page also looks identical. The part number is probably different, which kinda threw me off. But I kept the mount that was already in the car, reused my t bracket and was done. Moved on to wiring mayhem and was frustrated with the cruise control, come to find out my god damn brake sensor plug was not in(DAMMIT).

I was always under the assumption that the rear mounts between automatics and manuals were different. maybe that referred to something else.

They are, but dimensionally they're the same. The manual mounts are just stiffer, like the construction of the rubber is visibly different, but they bolt up exactly the same. D-series AT and MT T-brackets are identical as well.

So doing this swap. Got a d16y8 (from a 99 with necessary conversoon to ob2a ) manual, OB2a harness and the 98 p2p. Putting it into a 98 cx hatch. Been scouring the interwebs and all paths lead here. When doing it the way that I did (getting all the parts instead of making the auto stuff work) what wiring is required? My shifter harness does not have the black/blue wire.

Oh that's what that (blue/black) wire is. No cruise control. So just solder the two blacks together right?
