Honda is heading to Global Rallycross
As all eyes were on Honda at the New York Auto Show to get some scoop on the new Si and Type R, Honda disappointed the enthusiasts with not even a peep of information. I shouldn't say that in its wholeness, we do know a 6-spd will be offered, so long as the Si or the R gets a turbo engine. Of course at this point, it's pure speculation as to if the Si or the R will get turbo mills.
Though they did talk about their successful racing heritage is, and how they intend to improve upon that.
Honda unveiled quite an impressive Global Rallycross car, being built by the best in the business, Olsbergs MSE. The car claims 600hp, a 0-60mph in 1.9sec, and suspension to tackle hug 70ft jumps.

Re: Honda is heading to Global Rallycross
Yup saw that and thought oh yes I like the direction!!!
Seems like it's going to be the Si as it's a coupe and the R is only coming hatch from what I've been reading but could be wrong on that!

I'm just waiting to see how they will make the USDM version of the type R look like with additional lip kits, rear spoiler, rims and brake kit.
I'm really not feeling the look of the hatchback right now....
