'06 Civic Blend Door is jammed?
Hi. I believe the blend door is jammed/broken on my Civic. Please advise.
Hot air comes out very slowly when the thermostat is turned to hot. Cold air comes out very slowly when set to cold. I can hear the blower clearly but nothing comes out of the vents. Recycle button - nothing happens. Max A/C - nothing happens.
All my fuses look good. The A/C is trying to blast air into the car. Nada.
Can I get to the blend door without taking the dash apart? What's a reasonable estimate from a mechanic? Is it worth doing yourself or is it a tremendous P I T A?
Thanks!

This is assuming your Mix Motor (not blend door term anymore) is faulty. Id say...about a half hour of labor. Dont know how much the part is. Its actualy pretty simple to get at. No need to take the dash out/apart. Id still hook up gauges and/or suck it down and see how much freon came out depending on pressures, ect ect. Take it in to find out what the real deal is unless you can take on diag and repair yourself
