2005 Honda Civic runs rough when accelerating
My Honda only runs rough when it's warm outside, like over 70 F and only when I first start it accelerate it in gear. Recently it threw a couple misfire codes and I changed the spark plugs which helped but I feel like they fouled quicker than they should have since I changed them about 1 year prior. I've also changed the fuel filter/ pump and an oxygen sensor. I was just wondering what could cause this weird problem. Thanks.

incorrect engine coolant temp or intake air temp reading will do this too. check the readings with and OBDII scanner

Re: 2005 Honda Civic runs rough when accelerating
I just got a code yesterday and it was a cylinder 1 misfire. I pulled out the ignition coil to switch it with cylinder 4 to see if the ignition coil was the problem and there was a little bit of oil on the outside of the coil. I'll check out the EGR valve when I get a chance.
