Surging idle after Starter / Positive Bat Cable Replacement
Hi,
I have a 2005 Accord (4 cylinder) and recently replaced the starter and the positive cable as well as the air intake tube. The car starts now, but then idles awkwardly. The idle will shoot up to 2K ish and then drop to about 1K. It will repeat itself as if it's stuck in a range. I have no CEL, and don't know what this could be. Not sure if it's in my head, but do notice the car boggyish / weird when I turn it off as if there's some leak and weakness?
During my installation, I did not remove any vacuum hoses from the intake manifold, so I don't think I have a vacuum leak, but is it possible I might've stretched the tubes too much or whatever by accident? I used a new IM gasket, and that part seems pretty cut and dry, so don't think I misaligned anything. My air intake cover did drop from a table, although I don't think the built in sensor would cause the car to idle in such a way..
I also cleaned the throttle body butterfly flap w/ some cleaner.
This has been giving me a lot of grief and I hope to fix this soon. Any ideas? I plan to retrace the connectors, but would like some guidance. Thank you in advance.

Does it do thins from a cold start or only once the engine is warm. Either way I would check the intake manifold gasket for leaks

Does anybody know where the location is for the following?
#9. I believe this is the transmission ground? Not sure if my car is missing or I am unable to locate it. Do I have to take out certain parts?
