Default Honda Accord Multiple Misfire and ECM

I have had problems for the past 4 months with my 2008 Honda Accord 4 cyl with 90k miles. At 80k I was getting cyl 1,2,4 misfire as well as an ECM code don't remember which one. I decided to change all 4 plugs and it seemed to fix the problem it ran fine till 85 K miles and started doing the same thing misfiring badly and if I pushed the gas hard it would throw the CEL light and lose power. I could start it up 5 minutes later and it would run fine. I took it to a mechanic and they said misfire 1,3,4, the mechanic said I did not do a good job of tightening the plugs and alot of oil was on the plugs he recommended replacing the plugs again so we did and it ran fine till 87k miles. I again experienced the same issues exactly, we next replaced the coils and that was fine to 88k miles. I verified with autozone and the same type codes were back, they must have reset the codes because when I took it to Honda they could not pull codes. I explained the problem and they could find nothing and told me from what I told them it was probably the VTEC sensor. They played a video and it sounded nothing like what I was experiencing. They asked to keep it over night to cold start it but I told them the problem is not with the start but when it is running. I asked if they could drive it now and they said it would do no good since there were no codes. They also did a few recalls one was a PCM that had to do with oil consumption. I did not get half a mile before the CEL light went off as well as the VSA light and lost power. So now I am getting all four misfires, general misfire, ABS codes and 83-1 and 61-1. I am at my wits end I don't really feel like taking it back to Honda and being told it will cost $1500 to replace an ECM of a VS Modulator. Right now it rides very rough and if I exceed 2000 rpms it starts to backfire and cause the VBS light to go back on and lose power. I am not confident just any mechanic can narrow this down, is Honda my only hope??
