Default 98 Honda Accord "check engine light" comes on

Hi, I need advice please.

My 98 Honda Accord's "check engine" kept coming on, and on my mechanic's advice, I've just had a new catalytic converter put in (at a cost of over $800.) I drove the car home, and the next day, on my way to have the engine oil changed, the engine light came back on!

The code is #1457... It has always been this code appearing. The oil change guy says there could be a leak in the flex pipe.

I also read that a possible cause could be the 02 sensors.

The car drives beautifully. I have to take it in for emissions testing next week.

Any suggestions please?

PS- If that is the only code you have been getting and "your mechanic" said to replace the cat converter.......don't ever go back to that place.
