Shift light tach wire hookup
Hey guys,
I'm new here and I just had a quick question. I just bought a proform shift light and I'm wondering where to hook up the green tach hookup wire that goes to the light.
The install instructions that came w it where really general (imagine that).
Should I run the wire to the distributer, the tach wire goin into the instrument cluster (if there is such a thing) or is there an easy accessable wire going into the computer?
If you could give me a rough location and the color wire to splice into, i would really appreciate it.
By the way, I have a 95 accord ex 2 dr 5 spd
Thanks for the help
Keith

Re: Shift light tach wire hookup (keith1054)
Look at your distributor... there should be 2 plugs. One with several wires and one plug that is just a Blue and a Black w/ yellow stripe. Tap into the blue wire on that connector and you'll be good to go.
