Well obviously the coolant has to be going somewhere. If it's not going to the ground it's gotta be going to combustion chamber. Or I suppose the crankcase.

You obviously do not understand auto manufactures. They design and build cars in generations. Each generation is a complete redesign from the other. So your "89" will have NOTHING in common whats so ever with a 1990. So time to upgrade your 21 year old Honda. I bet the car is older than you!

In small defence, the sections are not clear. Third gen accords are 86-89, however if you "look" at the sections the 88-89' accords are kind of left out. Pre 88, 1990 and newer accords? If you are new then it could get confusing. Can someone update this?

Either way, "Kgill23": I've already suggested ways of finding out your issue in one of your other posts. How did that go? In the future, post in the classic section. Thanks to everyone.

**sarcasm warning**

yeah because honda radically changed their cooling systems from 89 to 90. If you can go to your local autoparts store rent one of these if they have them to pressure test the system. I would guess according to the age of the car if it has never had a replacement radiator there may be some fine cranks running along the top of the radiator.
