93 accord cruise control issue
I have a 93 accord ex and my cruise isn't working. I thought it was the switch so I changed that and it worked every once in a while until I hit a bump and it would shut off. Now its not working at all. I'm new to honda but not to imports. I have no idea where to start. I know the celica has a box that controls it all does the accord too and where would it be. Any help would be great.

Re: 93 accord cruise control issue
Does the cruise control light on the dashboard come on after you hit the set button on the dashboard? Does it come off if you hit the brakes, clutch or shift into neutral (auto)? If the dashboard light never comes on, you probably have an electrical issue.
Check for a vacuum leak. The 4th gen accords have a vacuum tank inside the driver side quarter panel that can break (my accord had a small dent that caused the vac tank to "pop" open - some JB weld fixed it right up). If you have vacuum gauge, you can plug the vac line from the cruise control unit, start the engine and check for a vacuum.
