Default F22B2 NoN Vtec Distributor work on F22B1 Vtec?? Injectors?

I am pondering on doing a swap,

will a F22B2 Sohc NoN Vtec Distributor bolt up and work fine on a F22B1 Sohc Vtec Motor?

Both are OBD1

Also the injector size/cc for the F22B2 Sohc NoN Vtec same as the F22B1 Sohc Vtec?

If I use the F22B2 NoN Vtec Distributor will the ECU throw any codes for the F22B1 Sohc Vtec motor and ECU not recognizing the Crank Sensor or is it all fine and registers through the distributor?

What swap are you pondering? Just the distributor swap? If so don't bother it's not worth the hastle.

IIRC the F22B2 Distributor will physically bolt up and if wired correctly will work fine.

F22B2 external coil distributor
F22B1 internal coil distributor

So you would ether have to convert your wire harness to use an external coil or convert the F22B2 distributor to use an internal coil

Injectors are 240cc for both the B1 & B2.

If the B2 distributor is wired properly it will not throw any codes as the sensors are the exact same in both distributors.

Cool You may need some sort of mount modifications. I think there are a few F swaps into EF's around. I'm sure you'll be able to find out what mounts to use. I'm not familiar with the F to Civic swap..... FYI the B1 is VTEC & the B2 is Non VTEC
