ABS Brakes - Warning light on
My '93 EX, out of the blue, has the ABS light on. It comes on when starting, goes out like it should, but when the car exceeds 10-12 mpg it comes on. Brakes are working, but no longer antilock. I checked sensor wires, ABS fluid level, fuses and so on; no visible problems. Any suggestions, or is this a (groan) job for the Honda dealer?

Re: ABS Brakes - Warning light on (urbanlegend21)
Well, no leaks, haven't broken the system open, and the sensors look fine.... Have heard that bad wheel bearings will affect the ABS also, but they are OK. I was hoping that someone had bit the bullet - I will probably end up taking it to the dealer as soon as I can scrape the funds together. If this thread hasn't walked into the archives I will post the results. I have a feeling it will be an expensive repair; maybe I cas save the next guy some $$$. Thanks, urbanlegend21. Any other suggestions, anyone?
