'99 Accord burning oil
My honda has 167,000 miles and for the last nine months I have been going through approx 2 quarts of oil between oil changes (every 3000 miles).
I have not seen any leaks, don't smell anything out of the ordinary and have not noticed any changes in engine performance. Is this some what normal for a high mileage vehicle? Should I switch from 5w30 to 10w30 even though my location is upstate NY? I was told to use 5w30 in the winter months.
Is it possible that I could still get 200k out of this car? I am ready for a new car but the longer I can milk this one the easier it will be on me financially as I am sure you guys know the feeling!
Thank you for your thoughts.

I would stick with the manufacturer recommended oil weight, but take a look at your spark plugs. Is there oil in the tubes? "Internal" leaks can sometimes be a problem, but those seals and gaskets can be replaced.
