i am putting a 2001 v6 engine in my 99 v6 accord. But my mechanic said that we might run into a problem with the compatibality of the 99 immobilizer{anti-theft} unit with the 2001 PCM . He does'nt know if the 2001 PCM will accept code from a 99 unit. So if not, my only option is finding someone who can disable the immobilizer circuit in the 2001 PCM so it will start. Or i was thinking crazy last resort and buying the AEM EMS . HELP PLEASE -
