PWNDLOL

Hey all, I searched for other posts and found some information but they were a little bit old. I have a 98 2 Dr V6 Auto accord. Today on the way home from Tampa to Miami. I floored it a little to get back on the highway and one it got to the top of the gear it kinda hesitated to go to the next. Then about 50 miles down my CEL came on. I drove it home and the tranny was acting funny between 1st and 2nd gear. I went to autozone and borrowed their code reader and got only 1 code. p0740= TCC Circuit Malfunction. I cleared the code and drove home and it didn't seem to drive to bad on the way back. However this sounds like the symptoms to my tranny dieing on the other threads. My car only has 58k miles on it and I only bought it 2 months ago. Is there anything I can do because I know they had alot of known problems with these cars. I heard it was only for 7 years though (which is done by now). Does anyone have any ideas or should I be selling this thing to carmax or something before it dies?
