Default 96 Accord EX V Tech cylinder 2 misfire

Car started misfiring about a week ago. The engine light would flash right after i felt the engine murmur. It would only misfire on acceleration, never at idle.

I did a full tune up with new plugs, new wires, new distributer cap and rotor. I noticed the car would drive smooth in city traffic until i began driving back roads and had my engine around 2500 rpms for a longer period of time.

I have checked my injectors for any discrepancies in rythm and rhe voltage in the wires as well. They checked out fine. I have done a compression test on all four cylinders and they all checked out fine at 180 psi. Performed a wet test and they all reacted the same with very little to no change.

I acidentally yanked the tops off my spark plug wires and replaced them. Today, i drove about 30 miles on the highway without any misfires. As I hit 30 miles it began misfiring again and sending off a flashing engine light again. Only about 2 to 3 times. Before it was anywhere from 3 to 17 times. Very sporadic and all over the place.

I guess im confused as to why it would run so smooth for that many miles and then come back. I noticed that it starts misfiring between 2250 and 2500 rpms. Not a violent misfire, just a gentle hickup.

I put seafoam in the gas tank. Hoping it is a clogged injector. Will be taking it out this week to check. Other than that i can't think of any other causes besides a distributer misfire on one of the sensors. Could it be the ignition coil? I know there is only one so i cant think it would effect only one cylinder. Any body have any ideas? I really dont want to dish out money to have a mechanic tell me something i could have eventually figured out.

I will also mention i just replaced my catylitic converter and both O2 sensors. Though, the misfire was occuring before i replaced it. Could there be an issue there?
Any feed back is greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your EGR manifold and ports are clear? This would coincide with part throttle cruise bucking.
Have you verified the valves are correctly adjusted?

I will check the EGR manifolf next. As well as the injectors. I am not familiar with adjusting valves. Will probably have a friend help me with that if the EGR manifold doesnt check out.

Thanks for the advice.
