95 Honda Accord EX condenser fan motor issue
I have a issue with my 95 Honda Accord EX 2.2L auto. The condenser fan motor wont stop spinning it keeps killing the battery. What can i check to stop it from spinning. The fuses all look good and relay is ok. Wich sensor could be bad? I tried replacing the condenser fan motor and no change.

I'd be looking into the fan timer....
EDIT: See post#8 https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-accord-1990-2002-2/questions-regarding-radiator-fans-2989671/ the description is of a working system on a 91 (4th Gen). Basic operation described is the same as yours....wire colors, fuses and a few other minor things are different but it should really help you understand the system....From there you can look up and read about testing the fan timer.

Re: 95 Honda Accord EX condenser fan motor issue
Thanks,
i tried unplugging the fan timer to see what happens and the fan still spin's (car is cold and not running). i havent looked at the schematic yet, but would that be normal?

No it it would not......Test the condenser fan relay, could be stuck closed.....several ways to do this, let me know if you need help. The WHT wire is hot at all times, from the underhood fuse panel. If the relay is stuck closed then the power would flow thru to the BLU/YEL all the time.
Does the fan run all the time, even when you first start the car.

Re: 95 Honda Accord EX condenser fan motor issue
I swapped the fan relay with the window relay and its the same situation.
I know my window relay works fine. Window goes up and down with no issues.
Lost Again - Yes the condenser fan runs all the time when the car is off or on and engine is cold or hot. sometimes the fan just sits there making weird noises. I had to unplug the battery because it kept killing it when the car is just sitting.
Just checked BLU/YEL wire and its always powered all times, even with the relay pulled out theres still power at the BLU/YEL wire.

Hang on just a second...which fan relay?
The condenser fan relay is "just" inside of the drivers/left headlight. Two relays kind of hanging from one metal bracket-the other relay is the ac comp relay.....are we talking the same?

Awesome Thank you "Lost Again" and everyone for the tips!
yeah i was looking at the wrong relay (underhood fuse box)
i replaced the relay next to the headlight and it works perfectly.
