90 accord lx tranny problems ( I think it is the TCM)
This saturday my car started giving me problems while trying to shift out of first gear. First doesn't truely engage but when i drop it into d1 it shifts fine along with my other gears. My sport shift light is on. From reading past posts i believe it is my tcm. I pulled back my carpet and I see two lights one is blinking the other is solid. Before i start putting more money in this car I would like a confirmation that it is the tcm. Does anybody have a tcm forsale from a 90-91 accord lx. Also when i turn on the car i hear a clicking noise under the driverside console but when i press on the brakes the noise stops.

If you buy another tcm it will just buy you some time. those tcm's go bad. Honda has an updated tcm for you vehicle but its not cheap. go with a used one but I would'nt pay more than $50-$75 for it. Good luck
