2004 Accord EX-L - Passenger side seat creaks when slid all the way back
I have a 4 door 2004 Accord EX manual tranny with Leather interior and the passenger seat creaks when nobody rides in it. Sometimes while turning with someone in it I can hear it creaking inside, but mainly when I'm driving alone it just continues to make little cracking sounds. If I slide the seat more toward the front, it seems ok, and I believe if I pull toward me on the far side (the leather part right next to passenger door) pretty hard it doesn't make the sound.
I have to take my car in for some recall soon so I intend to have them check this, but the sound does not always happen, so I want to be able to accurately describe it to them. If anyone here knows how I could even fix this myself, I'd appreciate it. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

2004, take it to the dealer...honestly I wouldn't mess around with it while it's under warranty and they will pay for it.
But it sounds like possibly loose screws or bolts which you will want to get checked out asap anyway.
Also since it is a new car register your honda at https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/...honda it will keep you updated with services, recalls and the like

Ah cool thanks. I was searching around on Google and found some site that had a 2002 that had some problems with the passenger seat ("Front passenger’s seat creaks at hinges/lower bolster – Loosely mounted") so I'm going to bring that up to them. Thanks for the site.

Not to hog your thread but thanks for that link, I registered my 96 EX on there (for the hell of it) and it gave me some cool info, like the correct color name and where it was purchased, thats a pretty cool site! Thanks a lot!

Take the sum-bitch into the service dept at the local Honda dealership. It is under warranty. AHM Owner Link is the sht for all Honda owners. I recommend all owners to sign up.
