Default 2002 Honda Accord Drivetrain Loss Percentage
Hi, everyone. I've been doing a little newbie noodling in my car recently and am trying to estimate my 2002 Accord SE's wheel horsepower from its crank horsepower. The crank/ brake horsepower stock is 148 bhp but I assume that there is a loss of horsepower to the wheels. Has anyone performed a dyno on this to see what the difference the bhp is from whp?

Thanks! So for a 148 bhp car, I am looking at 111 whp, correct (148 bhp - 25% Drivetrain Loss = 111 whp)?

Some will say that its 15% no matter what but I believe tranny does play a part.

the 98-02 V6 puts down between 148-152hp so that equates to a 25% loss
