2002 Accord Transmission issue...Advice?
I have a 2002 Accord with 200k miles on it, the tranny was replaced about 35k miles ago at the dealership. I had the timing belt changed and decided to have tranny serviced at "Discount Auto Repair" (I know, I know). The tranny was running just fine prior to the service.
As I drove home, the car was shifting pretty rough. I was told that the ATF gets thicker after awhile and that the addition of new (thinner) fluid can jack it up. I was told to do one of 2 things:
A. Drain what was put in and add 2qts of Honda ATF and 1 qt of Lucas ATF additive......or
B. Take it to the dealership.
Any ideas? It ran fine this morning, I need to prevent any real damage before it occurs.

when it comes to honda AT transmissions ... i'd leave it up to the dealer ... discount auto places never use honda ATF ... they use generic garbage ... it will hurt your trans ... honda puts specific additives in their fluids ... so get it serviced with honda ATF .... ASAP
